Have an iPhone or an iPad? A new app called Square lets you easily accept credit card payments at your shows. You can either key in card numbers, or swipe cards with a free card reader that attaches to your iPhone's headphone jack. There are no merchant fees, contracts, or minimums. The only cost is a 2.75% + .15 cents per swiped transaction and 3.5% + .15 cents for keyed transactions.
