Who's Crazee Now? follows Noddy Holder through his youth of a post-war, working class upbringing, to the last days of his band, Slade, and looks to the future of his successful acting career.

Noddy recounts the stories of meeting the eccentric-to-be Dave Hill as a schoolboy, their formation of several bands before the creation of Slade, seeing pre-Beatlemania Beatles, as well as crossing paths with a young Freddie Mercury and pre-glam Gary Glitter.

The book touches on all of the peaks and valleys of a successful music career, but never quite dives headlong into any of the sordid details of a life spent in rock-n-roll, and specifically of some of the more notorious legends surrounding Slade and its infamous front man.

Who's Crazee Now? is a great read for the uninitiated, yet holds its own for the true fan simply by the fact that it was written by and about one of rock-n-roll's most unique, independent, and influential artists.
